Golden Key locks or unlocks multiple files at once with Drag-N-Drop simplicity.
Have you ever had a group of locked files that you needed unlocked?
If so, you probably had to select one, select "Get Info" from the "File
Menu", uncheck the "Locked" checkbox, and then repeat the process a dozen
times.
Why waste your time doing this? Golden Key allows you to pick a folder and
have all of it's files locked or unlocked in a matter of seconds with only a
few mouse clicks.
As an added bonus, you also get a set of Golden Key icons to match your
Macintosh.

- Simple, easy to use interface.
- Toggle option will unlock locked files and lock unlocked files at the same time.
- Supports Drag-N-Drop of folders and files.
- Online help available via Balloon Help.

Dear Trinfinity Software,
I am a Creative Director and I receive many many CD's full of art assets
from different company which to do modifications of their art into new
packaging and into different languages. I prefer to have all of the original
art assets loaded onto my hard drive from which to work from quickly. When
doing so I always have to keep very close attention to not overwrite one of
there files when working (opening, copying, modifying etc.).
In order to keep the genuine nature of those original files at all times and
to guarantee that my files never get mixed up (in filing name conventions,
placement into correct folders, etc.) it always helps that I can lock
hundreds of the original files once they are loaded onto my hard drive.
Previous to GOLDEN KEY I would have to spend much time doing a GET INFO
entire libraries of files in order to lock them invidually -- thus
protecting them from an accidental write-over.
Now I can lock them all in one easy step as I go, helping to:
- Assure every file does indeed get locked.
- Saves much time in doing so with the application, and
- Improves my day-to-day confidence in my original archives.
Thanks Trinfinity Software!!!

I just wanted to say "Thank you."
Dreamweaver uses file-locking as access control, which is fine. But when I need to use BBEdit to search and replace over an entire
site the locked files become a huge problem.
I've tried AppleScript solutions, Filebuddy and other tools, but Golden Key is by far the best and most convenient for handling
large numbers of locked files.
Thank you so much!
